[In the left margin] Turner Benja Will In the name of God Amen November 6th in the year of our Lord 1794 I Benjamin Turner of the County of Southampton being at this time weak in body though found in mind & memory knowing that it is appointed for man once to die do constitute & make this my last will & testament revoking all others by me heretofore made in man ner & form as follows Vitz Imprimis: I Give and bequeath unto my belov'd wife during her natural life or widowhood the plantation wheron I now live with all the plantation Utensils also the followingslaves to wit, Simon, Crum, Hannah, Olive, & Yellow Patience also three houses such as my wife may make choice of also two beds & furniture three Cows & Calves & all the stock of hogs together with 15 Sheep & one Saddle & bridle After the death or marriage of my wife it is my will & desire that my Plantation should go to my Son Walter & in case of his death without Heir to go to my belov' sn Matthew Turner & the perfect sonal Estate left my said wife it my will & desire should be sold after the death of my wife and divided between my son Walter & daughters Sally & Eliza & their heirs Imprimis: I Give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Sally Turner to her & her heirs forever the following slaves Vitz Sealy & Mourning, Mourning to be sold & the money arising from her sale to be laid out in a negro boy also one bed & furniture & one Cow & Calf.
